Everyone else seems to have one, but I'm not sure of the point - I use Feedblitz to collate all the sites I read from RSS feeds.

A new blog I've just added to the feed list: A Nation of Shopkeepers

A couple of recent posts caught my attention.

Talking tech , NoS points out that there's nothing new under the sun. Blogging is an extension of other forms of social interaction, for example web sites such as Slashdot. I'd add Fidonet to the list of prior examples, from  back in the good old days when the techie status symbol was a V.32bis modem.

Another post on the subject of Lib Dems also caught my attention. As a former Lib Dem myself, I'd say your analysis is on the mark. For many years I'd assumed I was a member of the Liberal Party, and it was only when I started paying attention that I realised I was in the Social Democrats. In retrospect I should have read the literature before posting it through the letterboxes. Never mind - we're all entitled to be young and foolish.

The last straw for me was receiving a bulletin from Stephen Williams MP about a visit to Bristol by the founder of the party. My first thought? I'm all in favour of getting the vote out, but digging up Gladstone is going a step too far. (Of course, what he really meant was a visit by one of the Gang of Four).
