My colleague, Nick Yarker, Conservative candidate for Bristol-West, has directed me toward a video in which he discusses the Bristol Bath Railway Path, recently under threat from a planned Bus Rapid Transit Route. (see my article here).
The makers are "Bristol video magazine" 5on1. I don't have any more info about the magazine as the website is down, but you can find more local videos on their YouTube channel.

That's a very professional video. It's frustrating that such a video probably does more to win people over than pages of carefully reasoned argument, but slick PR is increasingly the name of the game.
The West of England Partnership are also promoting BRT in Bath where they're using a local PR company called Creatrix - not the most subtle of names! Anyway according to this Chronicle report they don't seem to be winning over too many Bathonians - http://tinyurl.com/63b2p5

The 5on1 team are professional filmmakers, running a Bristol-based news DVD. Every DVD has five articles, with a focus on local news and interests. Not only do they do excellent filming and coverage of fun stuff (mountain boarding, parkour), they are doing really good local journalism.
You can pick up the DVD from shops and pubs, or get the videos off youtube. All are worth watching.
