Welcome back to the blogosphere James. Good to see you haven't lost your touch.

So far I've seen singles adverts, charities, something about climate change and a cheap car parts directory. Personally, I'm not currently in the market for Esther Rantzen, but if you are then by all means investigate her wares.

You do realise that the "large quantity of Google Advertisements" includes a photograph of Esther Ransom son't you?

I do this for my own amusement. If you don't like it, then don't bother commenting, squire.

Re: English Democrats – new Mayor of Doncaster interviewed by BBC. Hilarity ensues.

Six months later, this guy has showed the rest of the bloated public sector the way forward. An absolute hero. Finally, finally some one who's got to grips with the obscene waste at local government level.

This blog comes across as the self-important misinformed rantings of an ignorant wannabe. Why should anyone care what you think?

Just found your post. It's been driving me mad for ages, I think the maximum is 30 seconds which I've now adjusted it to.
Thanks James :-)

Shut up Barlow. He's doing more good to the world than you are. I'm sure there are plenty of Ugandans who would give their right arm to lead your life, which I doubt is as impoverished as the average citizen over there.

Re: Shane Prescott

Thu 03/Dec/2009
Mr Barlow, can I firstly confirm that the first comment regarding Shane Prescott is wholly inaccurate, Shane Prescott DID NOT become Bankrupt, and to that end the statement, which has not been verified, is libellous. His Company went into voluntary liquidation THREE years ago, as a result of a bad debt, which put the Business into an Insolvent Trading situation. Regarding the third comment by Cathy Prescott, again with no verification, I would assume this would refer to her Marriage to Mr Prescott TWENTY FIVE years ago, which lasted for approximately 16 months. There were no children as a result of this Marriage, and despite her obvious contempt, it would appear that whilst she has NEVER remarried, nor had a family of her own - she has retained his name! HOW STRANGE after 25 years. I would confirm that Mr Prescott has gone on to remarry, and is the VERY proud Father of Four wonderful children, aged 20, 19, 18 and 14. I would confirm in reply to her strange comment regarding 'FAMILY VALUES' that Mr Prescott still retains his strong opinions with regard to ABORTION, and has enjoyed a wonderful and happy family life with his Children, and his second Wife of 22 years. I was under the impression that your Blog related to Political Issues, rather than a facebook type wall on which to post personal attacks. Mr Prescott welcomes any opportunity to discuss the events leading up to the voluntary liquidation, and would confirm that he has remained in business despite the intolerable trading conditions suffered by all at the moment.

Re: Andrew Purdy - Fantasist

Tue 01/Dec/2009
andrew purdy is taking legal action regarding his prison sentance in 2007, because new evidence from suffolk police shows he did not waste time during the murders of the fiveladies, because suffolk police have sent a letter saying that due to being threatened by people we feel it unsafe for mr purdy to live in suffolk

Re: Investigating Officers

Wed 25/Nov/2009
Yes, me too. I am an IO and despite the ridiculous press we have had in the last few days, I am actually proud to claim myself as such. We are there to alleviate and help the CID officers who have rightfully earned their place. We are there to assist with the investigations, not to take them over. We are there to let PC Plod do his job instead of having to wander around taking statements, rushing to one job or another. We are there to make their lives easier and for the public to get a better service. But apparently, some old codgers have decided we are not such good idea's, despite most of the IO's I work with being more qualified to do the job than some of the PCs roaming the streets of late.
Hats off to CID, they do a marvellous job, so does PC Plod and the IRTs, all of which are not credited enough, but hats off to the IO's, DO's and PCSO's who are taking the brunt of the abuse at the moment. It truly is an outstanding service the vast majority are providing and nobody can take that away from us! Not even the dinosaurs!
